I've loved this fabulous Soul album to distraction for decades and what a blast it is to finally hear it sound 'so' good. I took their hits single 'Back stabbers' and extended it a bit. Also In 2012, the album was ranked number 318 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The Internet blurb to this CD reissue by Big Break Records of the UK (also known as BBR) claims to have 'lovingly remastered' the album for a new audience. The recording sessions for the album took place at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1972.This album indeed put the O'Jays on the map with hits like Backstabbers & Love Train, the world would know these guys name for sure after this great debut album. Great collection of songs, Love Train always lifts my mood.
