I want nothing more than for my son to have that same experience, as it has truly shaped me into the person I am today and given me both the education and friendships that have been fundamental in my life.I have been extremely impressed by my daughter's experience thus far. The Boosters, under the direction of the School Administration, coordinates team formation, recruits volunteer coaches, schedules practice times and manages equipment and uniform inventories. I am amazed at the growth from being a first year friend to a kindergartener.
He is more cooperative and self-sufficient, his interpersonal relationships have really blossomed, and he has been more affectionate with us at home, too.My child had a wonderful Montessori experience and had no trouble at all transitioning to traditional 1st grade.Our child has loved Montessori and has really thrived. We have been very happy with our 3 years in Montessori. We chose Montessori because it was the only space available at the time we were looking at options. He thrived at the Villa. Consequently, any student who wishes to join any Booster sponsored team must be afforded the opportunity. We initially didn't know much about Montessori. I also appreciate that while it is a group focused approach, we have found that the teachers are really good at meeting the child where they are academically and challenging appropriately.We are very impressed with what our daughter has learned in just a short period of time and are excited to see what she continues to learn as the year goes on.I am very happy with the traditional experience. Teacher education and length of tenure (low turnover) is also very important to us.
St. Ursula Villa 8th graders launched a project to recycle cell phones and save gorillas through an effort with the Cincinnati Zoo.
