But it got 8gb ram and i get like 60-100 fps on pixelmon normal mincraft highest 300fps. Ram the amount of things that can run in your computer at one time , graphic card would be another one where some game require a good graphic card to run a smooth graphic for the game , so the problem may lies on the graphic card you have on your laptop .

Still , I'm not too sure myself but some of the shader packs really do require a very good ones Although I deleted the animated textures because they don't the look the best. When i use shaders i am lagging so hard. Installing HD texture fixes can also increase lag. I've seen videos of people that can play Minecraft with these shaders with BARELY ANY LAG… Hi all, I have installed sildurs Lite shaders with TFC. Most shader packs require a very decent computer to run smoothly, so it most likely will be very laggy on generic laptops and family desktops. Try to reduce using shaders unless needed or disable them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me In-Game or through Enjin!

I would say just use the lite version of Sildur'sif youre willing to use a different shader, i suggest chocapic13's shaders v7 lite.

Could this be your issue? I only get 1-50 fps while playing Pixelmon. Good lord, BSL Shaders are beautiful.

I have been using the Chocopic13 shaders for a long time, but I have been getting quite a bit of lag. My machine is powered by Ryzen 3700X, RX 580 (8GB) and 32 GB RAM (3200 Mhz). Like, really beautiful. In fact, when all’s said and done, this is the shader pack that I go back to for my own survival world.

Idk about shaders but I use something called Naturus 2.0. Could this be your issue?

But how can i fix it?

i use a laptop yea. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts

BSL Shaders. I disabled the waving grass/leaves already, any help welcome! Try tweaking settings, try Sildurs Vibrant Shaders Lite or Sildurs Edited Default, better than nothing.

Macs weren't made to run heavy graphics. So how do i still get laggy Its a poor mans shaders in that the shadows aren't dynamic to moving sources of light, but they still exist directly below blocks. Shaders are good for cinematics but are horrible for normal gameplay and create lots of lag. Or just use nothingJust turn off like everything.

it does not lag too much for me, but is there anything I can do in the shader config/ TFC config to make it lag a little less? If you have any questions, feel free to ask me In-Game or through Enjin!

Hello, I have created this topic to ask questions about a mod I have gotten called GLSL Shaders. Also, installing shaders causes a lot of lag.

The pack also comes with animated leaf and grass textures and a sky texture. Turn off waving objects, shadows reflections etcAssuming you arent a base/ignoramus user; Update gpu drivers, update java64, lower window resolution, low res texture pack.Other than that, just lower settings for sildurs or use a lighter shader pack.Eh you just shouldn't use shaders on a weaker computer like a macdon't use a wheelchair if you break your legs, just drag yourself everywhereNew comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castOfficial subreddit for OptiFine - A Minecraft: Java Edition mod for optimization and graphics enhancements.Press J to jump to the feed. I got decent performance on my mac.People saying don't use a Mac, good idea but sometimes that's hard to do. Updating graphics drivers can only get you so far, and often doesn't increase performance drastically, it's usually the hardware that needs to change, which, being a laptop isn't really possible. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me In-Game or through Enjin! I don't use shaders. Using BSL shaders I'm getting roughly 45-55 FPS on low and 30-35 FPS on high (Resolution: 1080p, Render Distance: 12, Antialiasing: FXAA 2X, Render Quality: 1X, Shadow Quality: 1X).
