When we were seated, the waitress gave us DINNER menus; it was noon.We've had several terrific dinners at the Capital Grille. Visited as part of a group of eight so between us we sampled a good selection of the menu, everybody loved their choice. The wine choice was also good and not silly expensive.We made reservations for a celebratory lunch for six for 12:00 noon. But the quality food and the amazing service attention makes it all worth while every once in a while. No complaints from either of us. Yes it is not your everyday restaurant because it more expensive than most. From the moment you step into The Capital Grille, the experience is one of comfortable elegance.

When we arrived, we enjoyed the atmosphere and had an enjoyable drink at the bar. It rivals the best steakhouses in Philly (the late lamented Union Steakhouse and Butcher and Singer's) and is a better value the overpriced and pretentious famous steakhouse in town (Barclay Prime).
