The unspoken implication is that Jim Prime would not wither away like Beale did, as he entered a universe with no other Jim present. It stars Chad McKnight, A. J. Bowen, Brianne Davis, Scott Poythress, and Michael Ironside. Beale leaves Abby and rushes back to the lab, but Chuck refuses to explain. Low-rent but high concept, the film tackles that most joyously convoluted of science-fiction scenarios—time travel, of course—with lots of enthusiasm but not much originality.
Beale continues to weaken. At the very least, Synchronicity looks the part – but superficial this film is not. His suspicions are apparently confirmed when Chuck calls him on his cell phone and tells Beale that Abby is not to be trusted and the test has succeeded much more than they thought.
