I gave a 1 star only because I couldn't leave it at a zero! This is one of the worst experiences of my life. Very attentive, informative and helpful By the end of it all I was ready/willing to just pay for my own background check through another company, if that had been allowed.

I was told there was a problem with the software and would have to wait until they got it straightened out to submit a request I was sent refund forms for the times I was charged (I haven't seen a refund yet) This time I submitted the form again after being told this was fixed I was charged again I called to verify that Sterling had received my submittal - which, after speaking to people at Sterling, of which all were very hard to understand (***) told me they could not find my submittal! Resolved.) My employer did my background check through Sterling and it was a terrible experience. The rep who helped me was quick to give me the information that I sought and directed me to the correct people in a most timely manner. My experience with Sterling was an easy going process. Very pleased and great customer service. thinking about it seems as if you don't want lower income individuals to coach most of whom are of the minority class. I had a very good experience with customer service they was very polite to me The 4th submission was done by an employee of Sterling while I was on the phone!
