thanks.Factory Ford replacement parts were over $500, I ordered the complete cab mount kit for less than I could have ordered two cab bushings.
No wear on the bushings after a year, have recommended these to several friends who had the same problem with their stock bushings.âThese parts were great and easy to install and the directions excellent to follow. We have sold 100s of these kits and have had no issues with the fitment.Parts fit perfectly, just as advertised. Ford really should recall this problem, but glad affordable aftermarket parts were available.The support bushing that Ford had installed on my 2001 explorer Sport decomposed in an unbelievable fashion, never expected this.\nWhen I went to the dealer to complain and also to show the many complaints of other explorer owners I had found on the internet they shrugged.\nThe rattling of the body hitting the frame on the back of the car was driving me crazy. I was under the impression the was 3" not 1 1/2. It took me and a friend a couple of hours. When you've had enough convincing,start here to find the Daystar Suspension Parts for your vehicle. Unfortunately, they collapsed just as much. We have sent out replacements and Daystar is looking into the issue.Delivery time was great they were here in 2 days. The body seems to ride a little stiffer than before and you seem to pick up a little more road noise but that does not bother me. Other than that, no issues and completely happy with it.Easy to install,everything you need. Will use you guys again real soonParts worked great! Jacked the body straight up in the back then in the front, EASY AS PIE thanks for making the difference between the Explorer Sport and the Sport Track easy to see.Product was just as described. Would use you again for any suspension products for sure.No concerns, bought parts and hired shop to install. The factory ones were gone metal to metal.
I definitely recommend these things.The body mounts fit perfectly on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. Ive been off on road its been a great product and I would recommend it to anyone.These parts are working great. Excellent kit, vehicle ends up close to level when completed.Put 100k on them and they still ride as if I installed them yesterday. 2006 4Runner looks a bit more like a capable SUV than a minivan. The only delay was with the huge U-bolts that came with the kit. Received the product fast and without delay. Do not over torque the bolts. These hood straps have completely eliminated the issue, as well as the extra stress that it puts on the fenders. They are a bad job to change because you cant use an air gun to get the bolts out because of the crappy nut retention system in the cab. Overall pleased with the product. It should be softer like the original ones. I had to pick the parts up in Michigan because shipping to Canada was too much but other then that no problems. Parts received in a timely manner, instructions and body bushings matched up making installation a breeze.Very easy to install in one afternoon with a strut compressor. Happy with the results.\nMarionReplaced body mounts 2 & 3 as they were the only ones with the deteriorating material. An air chisel and a big pry bar are a must!âGood product, would buy again. Excellent kit, vehicle ends up close to level when completed.Last year we purchased 23 of these (both brown and black) to see if they would keep umbrella poles secure in the umbrella holes and keep the pole from enlarging the hole. Still have factory ride with a little extra height to accommodate 285/70r17 tiresgood product, customer is very happy with their truck. I can not get enough. Get a good alignment shop afterwards, it is worth the money to have it done right. In the end we were able to get it close. Now the left rear is rattling. This gave me about 3.75 ground clearance with bags fully down. Looks great! The suspension increase the functionality of the car a lot, both in winter and off road driving. It was a pain to get the B,C,D mounts removed from my Sport Trac, these went right in (after cleaning up the hardware from the original mounts). No mention of what the small bushings were for. I ended up using all the original bolts since the one in the hardware kit were not the same length and some ended up being too long.The only thing that you can do better is torque spec.The OEM product was not a choice for replacing. The parts I purchased from you guys have worked great! They worked great with lighter weight tables. If youre looking for a replacement for a failed factory set or just replacement of the poorly designed rubber ones.
I had them installed o my Ford Explorer Sport 2001 by a local mechanic, and they proved to be just completely perfect, in every respect. Daystar is sending out the correct bracket that was missing.They went in just as said on the information sheet (very informative). Rear was perfect at full length. Had to compress my coil springs some to facilitate installation, but no problems.The Spacers were easy to install with a great fit. Like all products,only the test of time will tell us the longevity that item.
