Or I have to take the pre-clinical part (many courses)? Realistically, it might take you 2 years to finish the prereqs, and then you have to apply with an interview to get into the internship year. Otherwise, upon admission I'll take the rest of the pre-clinical classes into addition to any remaining courses.From what I've read on the website the only requirements are needed are the core science classes with a gpa of 3.0 and the major has to be related.

But I heard some pretty mixed reviews about uc berk extension overall so I’m undecided where to take these classes....Have you spoken to any of the sites that will be providing the CLS internships? To be a CLS in California, I need to take 3 more classes: medical microbiology ( I only took regular micro w/ lab in college), hematology, and immunology.

You won't even be allowed to even get an interview for the internship without being enrolled in the school for at least 2 semesters by the time the internship starts. I got accepted but I am confused. And I have lab experience from college and my job but the thing is my work is lab experience related to food industry not clinical(listeria, salmonella, ecoli, sometimes pseudomonas).
