And nice grandiose display of Russian military, on Independence-Day-level, very professionally done. But the plot, the ideas, the pompous drama of the plot has turned it into a pretentious farce, a circus. Movies. A film about love in our unforgivably aggressive society. And somewhere, in a corner, a small Russian story line. Watch and laugh at how you can spend 6 million dollars to make the bad movie ever. The alien-actor though seemed a bit misplaced, but mostly because screenwriter's choices - who were questionable in many places. The worst alien abduction movie ever! Alien Get Out Let the Right One In Shaun of the Dead What We Do in the Shadows.
I didn't know which characters to like or hate as almost all were dis-likeable, which should not happen!
The score must definitely be over 6.5.

Was this review helpful? The worst alien abduction movie ever! The CGI effects are definitely on Marvel-level and the actors quite good, especially Alexander Petrov - who plays a very original part in this movie in a great manner!
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Everything else was good and if you are a sci-fi fan you may not care, but if you are like me...ya like to see some effort and some Alien beef-on! 37 out of 57 found this helpful. Of course, the bears are not the problem. I thought that was a wasted opportunity, given the interesting (if familiar) role she ends up playing toward the end. Directed by Marc Carreté. But it’s the action scenes that are the main attraction.
Save yourself the 1hr and 20 mins lol INVASION 2 2020 (spoiler-alert)...from Russia, pretty-much story-line is from the first movie, Focusing-on the tech capabilities rather than any real physical alien creature invasion, making it predictable as they draw-insperation from this first movie instead of them using there imaginations and taking it a step-further!
Pretty sure the subbing was also done by 5 years olds. The plot contains a lot of holes and too little logic, the actors' motivations don't exist. Thor satellite, auto driving, digital information hijack, invading the defense system and false public opinion killing people, it is even more powerful than Iron Man 's satellite glass to Spider-Man This movie joins a long and honorable list of sequels that should not have been made but were made anyway because of the success of the originals (think Pacific Rim Uprising or Independence Day 2 ).

The graphics are not amazing, but you need to understand, this is not Hollywood, and the funds here are completely different. Who has not understood his film is at his own expense. Pair the production team with a good writer team, producer and director and this would have been a proper sci-fi movie. Was this review helpful? 31 out of 50 found this helpful. The back story appears to be a bear metaphor in that the aliens wake up from a hibernation/lethargy and need a female. Sara Hamilton (Andrea Guasch) heads out there as an investigative journalist.
Other than that, great CGI and a few good actors give it some promise. This movie had the makings of a great sci-fi action thriller but we have no clue what's going on. It's better to watch the film immediately after the first episode, so that you get one big story. 16 out of 33 found this helpful.
