All in all not a bad little story, some clever bits, will watch it again and again. As a fan of the original series I found this a massive disappointment as it somehow lacks something in terms of humour. The movie is produced in European format and will not play on most North American DVD players. Really disappointed as am a huge fan of Mrs Brown They are refusing to issue one. My husband and I only managed about twenty five minutes and couldn't stand any more. It's an enjoyable film adaptation, but for me it's not a patch on the TV series. That was them all saying who they are in real life and their relationships to each other that was mind boggling. I didn't see it in the cinema but just bought the DVD to satisfy my curiosity.
