At First i thought it was normal but later seen other people with the same ball & theirs were fine! that's just how real leather balls are when it's new. First, the ball was not inflated (as advertised) but rather fully deflated when I received it. The GL7X lasts a very long time and is a significant improvement from the GL7. Of course this is a minor touch, but it definitely has sense behind it. Came fully inflated. In any case, I'm returning for a replacement and hope that the replacement product does not have these deficiencies. I purchased this basketball back in August, excited that I finally got to splurge on a really nice basketball after graduating college and making a little money to afford a higher-priced ball similar to what I used in high school. The wear and tear is quite visible even just a couple of sessions of playing on tarmac or other rough surfaces. Very slippery with sweat on it. This ball's quality Is terrible. GG7X is a indoor basketball which is officially recognized and used the second division of the German Men's Basketball League. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues with this product. The outside is a shiny slippery vinyl feel that I would probably crack if you left it in the sun. Ball should get better with continued use. Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. I reduced to 7.5psi. The ball is ~$70 and it feels like a $5 basketball you win at a carnival.

Molten has established its name through their dedicated work and close relationship with the governing body for basketball in the world, FIBA. The are raised a little, but no where near as much as the synthetic balls and the ball is definitely not soft like other synthetic balls.
