Food was like at home, I highly recommend tomato soup and potato pancakes (ask for sour cream! We tried the Russian Pierogis, Chicken Schnitzel, and the goulash and potato pancakes. We shared an order of spinach and feta pierogis that were to die for and the pork loin was very good as well.

I have tried pierogis in the states, but they were nothing like these. But this place had some pretty stellar reviews so we thought it would be a safe bet.

).If you wish a good treat pass your way but if you are after cheap local tasty food then you got the spot. Staff is very friendly and the food is great! The food is average and has a bit higher price in comparison with other places. Get directions. The potato pancake was good, but big serving. I had the goulash and potato pancakes, my wife had a pork cutlet, potatoes and peas and carrots. Great prices we ate for $35 for 4 people.This restaurant lived up to its reviews.
Zapraszamy do podziemi XIX - wiecznej kamiennicy i całorocznego ogrodu w sercu krakowskiego Kazimierza. We walked in and the so called hostess directs us to go downstairs. The opening hours advertised indicate that it closes at 9pm, so we arrived around 7:30. The waiter spoke pretty good English and we had no complaints with the service. We were sat in the basement, a typical spot for Europe.
