Meine Reisen EUR Sure, the "windows open" but the cobwebs, dead bugs and ill-fitting screens required me to keep the window closed (although it would have been good to open as it was a cool 11 degrees overnight!). Very quiet & room large enough to move around in although shower I cannot make out as it is a rose shower as well as hand held hose but n hooks or enough shelving in shower recess or on the door. In summary, stay there; you won't regret it.What beautiful accomodation.

Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre is set amongst three hectares of beautifully manicured gardens, complete with its own ornamental lake. Press alt + / to open this menu. The only challenge was a shower screen that was too short & so left us with a very wet bathroom and floor after every shower.Under the circumstances at this stage during the Virus, our hotel the Mercure Ballarat is always home away from home for us as we break the trip there when we travel to Melbourne from Nhill and when Cliff is on he always has that wonderful WELCOME sign on his face and we love being part of the family of the Mercure Ballarat as we are always treated 'special' and the service is so 'country' with the regulars at the front counter upon entry. The gardens here at the Mercure are an absolutely beautiful setting especially for special occasions e.g. Jump to. Public spaces have free WiFi.
