Tried to do it for 5 episodes. I have seen my share of bad shows, and shows that wasted its potential, but the writing on this show just takes it to a whole new level. It's a little stripped down and better off because of it.When it gets back to dealing with its long arc, Cameron tracking down Liber-8, their plans and her realisation that her perfect future may not be so perfect, the show starts to become more relevant and interesting.The show's storytelling is solid, and there are no weak links in the cast.If Continuum can maintain its focus on its action and the principles that motivate them, it'll be worth continuing to watch.This episode deals with [Kiera's] grief but doesn't over-egg it -- after all, they can't have six episodes of her weeping inconsolably while they're still trying to establish the series.Time travel stories are tricky, but Continuum seems to be diving head first into the challenge and getting off to a great start in the process.Anyone who is skeptical about "just another time travel show" should give Continuum a try.
