The campus is a very open, free, and kind environment that I never feel out of place at. While I think that every college campus did the best they could to transfer to remote learning, I think that Saddleback did a pretty great job. The colleges are spread over a wide range of geography, from mountains to coasts, and rural regions to big cities.
There is always parking available, and permits are cheap! The staff go out of their way to assist you in any way possible. When Saddleback offered grants to get updated technology, that is what helped me most during this semester!I'm not sure if Fall classes will be in person or not, but I think that the online transition will be okay.Santiago Canyon College is an excellent community college that has professors and advisors who really care and are eager to help their students meet their educational goals. I do wish, however, that they would work on their online options... Their Portal is very confusing and trying to use a student email only to have to ask them to help me reset the password is frustrating and time consuming when I just want to login to pay for classes or check my schedule.Amazing campus, amazing teachers, affordable college education! Something else Miramar can do to better is add more colleges to come to encourage us to transfer I feel like doing that would motivate students to reach their goals because I feel like they do not show us all the opportunities that we have. The CCCS is governed by the Board of Governors which, within the bounds of state law, sets systemwide policy. I am a commercial dance major and I have grown tremendously with he program that they offer us. These Counselors have put in a lot of time into aiding, re-looking, and assisting in any way possible; I know that I would have had a significantly more difficult time with my education planning, without their guidance. I have also taken certificate programs here.
Professors were always fast to help all individuals. Each professor I've had here were personable and accessible when I needed clarification on an assignment or anything course related. This is an amazing community college that students should defiantly attend!Diablo Valley College (DVC) is a very top notch junior college.
Personally, I love my department. One problem is how you will place map as wallpapers. Additionally, the library is beautiful, class sizes are proportioned smaller and the campus is nestled in a quiet, more rural part of suburban Orange which makes the environment more peaceful. The Promise Scholarship is very helpful for academic and general support.College of San Mateo does an excellent job encouraging students with their educational plan( whether transferring to a UC or CSU, or just guide them to help receive an AA) and career goals. I am so happy to have a chance to actually attend this school. California Community Colleges is "a postsecondary education system" in the U.S. state of California. The faculty is what made Oxnard College amazing for me, as each instructor made time for every student at office hours or after class.
