Amazing to see that creativity and imagination in the 1890's when it was written. Cantril's researchers found that contrary to what had been claimed, no admissions for shock were made at a Newark hospital during the broadcast; hospitals in New York City similarly reported no spike in admissions that night. This really would make a great movie, as is.
