We had an early tee time and played a 3:40 round. Staff very attentive. They give SCGA members a $115 rate and it is worth every penny. All rights reserved. The greens were hard and wouldn't hold but it's summertime so that's expected. Bunkers were in good condition. If you don't know where to land the ball, it's going to roll off. Poppy Hills Golf Course has three tennis courts and a pro shop that offers racquet stringing, tennis accessories, apparel, ball machines and backboards. Truly affordable greens fees with exceptional knowledgeable staff and team. But I let it a try. Poppy Hills Golf Course offers a spectacular layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1986. Marshals are raking bunkers and they are using foam tubes in the hole so the ball drops in the hole and is easy to remove.Played at Poppy hills today, March 27, 2019. We teed off about 25 minutes early and very soon came under pressure from a single which we let play through. Golf is very interesting type of activity. Can be very penal. Fairly challenging but not overly difficult. Huh?

Well not today! The views are very nice with beautiful large trees but certainly not spectacular.FABULOUS! Search. It was one of those days where everything just came together. Greens were good not perfect. And when I asked for range balls, he said: “you don’t get range balls with THAT tee time!”.Other less expensive course in the area provides free bottle water and bag of range balls. The fairways were pristine.

find a good price online and its a steal!course is hard & fast, holes are interesting, setup is just fairways and pinestraw---> me likey!Greens were just punched, slow and bumpy. Well not today! I'm hoping this was an aberration because we love the course and would like to play it again. They are subtle but they are there--first, no rough. The snack bar is open and they have two beverage carts roving the course. !Great golf course, beautiful location, but really tough for a 19 handicapMy buddy and I were not offered range balls from the employee at the pro shop. A real gem, and a great value at $105 pp, plus cart ($30 for two).
