The employees are very friendly and welcoming.The pizza is very good as is the stromboli but I've had the chic parmesan and piccata they taste worse than frozen from grocery store, tastes completely prepackaged. The staff is always super friendly. There are only a very small number of primary schools in Church Hill and consequently they can be a very long walk away. Red sauce on pizza kinda bland but maybe suits the local palate.

Food quality is usually good.Great food! The pizza was amazing! Sometimes service is great sometimes   lacking. The mussels in the white wine garlic sauce were very good but the best part of the meal is certainly the lasagna.

We had to get our own Menu's. You enter and receive a welcome but soon after self seating you find yourself waiting awhile to get noticed. The have a large menu with plenty to choose from. But not just any run-of-the-mill German restaurant, this one was named restaurant of the year by Style Weekly in 2014, and doubles as a butchery (Metzger Bar & Butchery was also recently named to our list of The Teklamariam brothers moved their Ethiopian eatery from Carytown to Church Hill in early 2016, and the West-Enders loss was the East End’s gain, as it quickly became one of Church Hill’s favorite take-out spots.
